Bios are boring....But people aren't, so here are a few GOOD things to know about us.

Katie Caniglia

Founder & Chairman of ITRIFORGOOD Foundation

Training for and participating in endurance events the past few years has yielded so much GOOD in my life and provided an opportunity to bring awareness & financial support to my favorite non-profits. ITRIFORGOOD™ invites everyone to get their hearts racing & I am beyond hopeful for all of the GOOD that this growing community can do!

My Heart is Racing for – Access to clean water, access to food, access to a quality education.

GOOD races that I have tried – Waxhaw Town & Country 5k, Turkey Trot 8K, Blood Sweat & Gears, Ironman Lake Placid, Palmetto 200, Kilimanjaro half marathon, RIDETZ 2014 (not a race but an endurance event like no other!)

GOOD things I would like to do – Inspire people to push beyond their perceived boundaries.

GOOD things on my calendar – lots of family time, lots of travel, growing ITRIFORGOOD™ and reaching a higher level of health & fitness.


Kyle Caniglia

Treasurer & Secretary

Although not a competitive endurance athlete, I am competitive. And being married to an endurance athlete, means I try my best to keep up. I have a passion for helping others that began while serving in the US military and am excited to be part of ITFG because of its ability to multiply the GOOD.

My Heart is Racing for – supporting wounded warriors, providing jobs for veterans, broadening access to higher education

GOOD races that I have tried – Thunder Road Half Marathon, Let It Rock 5k, Speed for Children in Need 5k

GOOD things I would like to do – help those in need

GOOD things on my calendar – Working hard everyday to spread the word about ITRIFORGOOD™ and to get new athletes and charities engaged.


Jessica Dust

I love to be active and tri new races, events, etc. I also love to give back to our community and to those in need. ITFG is the best combination of two of my favorite things!

My Heart is Racing for – Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, American Cancer Society, and providing more opportunities for deserving underserved children in our community.

GOOD races that I have tried – BSG, Ironman Louisville, Steelhead, Cane Creek Triathlon, Reindeer Romp 5k for Girls on The Run

GOOD things I would like to do – Travel, Travel, Travel!!!

GOOD things on my calendar – While nothing is set in stone, I'm looking for a GOOD race to train for and fundraise for ITRIFORGOOD™! Who wants to join me?

First and foremost I’m a Husband, Father, Friend, and a big baby when I get a cold. I’m an ITRIFORGOOD Board member but definitely not a bored member...

My Heart is Racing – to promote awareness and support for people living with and fighting MS (Multiple Sclerosis).

GOOD races that I have tried – Triathlons from sprint distances through multiple Ironman events, Etape-du-tour, Blood Sweat and Gears, road races from 5k’s through Marathons.

GOOD things I would like to do – Inspire & promote a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle through endurance sports.

GOOD things on my calendar - I’m not sure what the future holds for me but I do know that whatever it is, it's going to be exciting because…ITRIFORGOOD!


Beth Brodie

I am a wife, mother of 2, daughter, sister and volunteer who wants to make a difference by leading while serving others. Working for non- profits was not only my career, but my passion and encouraging others to give back makes me feel GOOD!

My Heart is Racing for – Anything having to do with making the world a better place for children!

GOOD races that I have tried – Ballantyne Sprint Tri, Monument Avenue 10K, various 5ks, daily race to get the kids to the bus stop on time!!

GOOD things I would like to do – Sleep more, Exercise more, Cook more...

GOOD things on my calendar – ITFG website launch; Habitat for Humanity Critical Home Repair work; hosting Thanksgiving festivities in our new home; getting a puppy!!

GOOD things I would like to do – Inspire & promote a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle through endurance sports.

GOOD things on my calendar - I’m not sure what the future holds for me but I do know that whatever it is, it's going to be exciting because…ITRIFORGOOD!


Jennifer Long

I love to travel and have enjoyed the friendships formed while training for endurance sports. Being able to help support great organizations by also staying healthy while training for a race is such a wonderful blessing. I’m passionate about helping others reach their goals and love to participate in races with friends.

My Heart is Racing for – The Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society both of which help to eradicate diseases that have effected people close to my heart.

GOOD races that I have tried – Ironman Louisville, Chicago Marathon, Thunder Road Half Marathon, Peak to Creek Marathon and Indianapolis Mini Marathon

GOOD things I would like to do – Help others, exercise more, and be a good example for my daughter

GOOD things on my calendar – Races with the ITFG crew and more exercise along and hopefully some more sleep.
